Job Description

The Program Manager, Compliance & Validation oversees all aspects of compliance and validation related to proposals, awarded contracts, follow-on awards and modifications, organizational discipline within the Government Programs area, and the security program. Additionally, the role involves assisting with proposal review, validation, and writing, as well as other projects assigned by the VP of Government Programs. Reporting to the VP of Government Programs, this position also collaborates with executive leaders to support Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Business Development, and corporate leadership. This is a remote position. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Program Management: Oversee the company's compliance and validation program, reporting to the VP of Government Programs.
  • Proposal Assistance: Aid in proposal writing, editing, and review, including cross-checking proposals prepared by the Program Manager for Proposals.
  • Contract Kickoff Meetings: Organize and lead kickoff meetings for new contract awards with the internal team and, when appropriate, business partners.
  • Proposal Analysis: Prepare user-friendly summaries of larger proposals and strategic issues for senior leadership.
  • Contract Review: Review new contract awards for required deliverables and communicate these to VPs, Operations Managers, and leadership.
  • Deliverable Tracking: Track required deliverables and coordinate with responsible parties to ensure contract compliance.
  • Weekly Contracting Meetings: Organize and lead weekly contracting meetings with Business Development to ensure departmental synchronization.
  • Organizational Discipline: Manage various organizational discipline processes and fulfill associated compliance and validation requirements on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis.
  • Vendor Setup and Contract Review: Manage the setup of new vendors and review their contracts.
  • Regulatory Guidance: Provide guidance on rules and regulations and their execution within the organization.
  • Training Oversight: Oversee and update department training policies and documents.
  • Security Role: Perform duties as an Alternate Security Manager
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Required Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following preferred: Bachelor of Science or Art in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or Criminal Justice
  • Four plus years’ experience in reviewing and ensuring compliance with government contracts
  • Either active Government Security Clearance or must be able to obtain Government Security Clearance
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must demonstrate initiative
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Must be highly customer service oriented
  • Advanced proficiency in various computer applications, e.g. word processing, excel spreadsheet, e-mail, database management and presentation software (to include spreadsheets, databases, slides, tables, graphs, and organizational charts)
  • Ability to handle stress
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage large workloads within tight deadlines
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Strong commitment to customer service
