  • Job Description


    This position serves as a point of contact for government clients, partners, and internal Spectrum staff with a primary objective of maintaining a timely and accurate Contract Administration Database (CAD) for compliance with contract terms and conditions.




    • Performs a full range of contract administration processes to include the majority of all data entry into CAD, including maintenance
    • Reads and interprets contract documents and specifications
    • Uses knowledge and understanding of the organization’s functions to effectively communicate contract terms and conditions to the rest of the organization
    • Provides guidance to the organization’s employees involved in carrying out the statements of work or requirements, and other staff regarding the contract provisions
    • Facilitates review, obtains approval and processes all award and modification documents in a timely matter
    • Processes all de-obligations ensuring timely approval by the Accounting Department
    • Prepares review documents and participates in semi-annual CAD reviews to ensure employees are properly classified for pay and invoicing purposes
    • High School Diploma or GED (Associate/Bachelor degree or some college coursework preferred)
    • Superior organizational skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Experience administering government contracts, including GSA schedule contracts preferred
    • Ability to handle stress
    • Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload within tight deadlines
    • Ability to handle confidential data
    • Ability to adapt to change
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written, with an emphasis in grammar)
    • Strong commitment to customer service
    • Must be procedure and detail oriented, utilize excellent follow up skills, and strive for 100% accuracy
    • Familiarity with modern office equipment, e.g. facsimile, copier, etc.

    This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, and fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
